Common questions
Why is there a frame?
A solid frame keeps the lattice rigid and gives you somewhere to mount it. Reduce it to a few millimetres if you plan to inset the panel.
Can I combine patterns with text?
Export the pattern and the text separately, then use the Boolean tools to knock the text out of the panel.
Which pattern is strongest?
Honeycomb — hexagons share walls efficiently. Islamic stars look richer but need thicker walls.
