Boolean & shape

Intersection

Keep only where two shapes overlap.

How it works

01

Load two shapes

Shape A is the base; shape B is positioned over it with the sliders.

02

Pick the operation

Weld joins, Difference subtracts B from A, Intersection keeps the overlap, XOR removes it, Divide gives every region separately.

03

Export the result

The result keeps its real size and exports as one clean compound path.

Common questions

Which operation for a knockout sign?

Difference: load the backing plate as A and the lettering as B to cut the letters out of the plate.

What happens to open paths?

Boolean operations need closed shapes; open lines are ignored. Close them first with the Close Path tool.

Can I move shape B precisely?

Yes — the sliders move it in millimetres, and the dashed outlines show both originals while you position.
