Common questions
What clearance should weeding lines keep?
2–3 mm is safe for standard blades. The lines are trimmed to never enter that clearance zone around any letter.
Kiss cut versus die cut?
A kiss cut goes through the vinyl only, leaving the backing; a die cut goes through everything. The tool exports them on separate layers.
What size are registration marks?
4 mm circles with cross hairs at each corner, which most print-and-cut plotters detect. Check your plotter's manual for its preferred style.
