Why are my letters joined correctly here but broken in other tools?
CutReady runs HarfBuzz, the same shaping engine browsers use, so Arabic and Urdu contextual forms and Devanagari conjuncts are resolved before the outlines are generated.
Should I weld the letters?
Yes for vinyl and stencils — welding merges overlapping strokes into one outline so the cutter never crosses itself. Keep letters separate only when you want individual pieces.
Are the fonts free to use commercially?
Every face is published under the SIL Open Font License or Apache License, which allows commercial use of the artwork you produce.
